1. Attend an auto parts swap meet

Hot Rods of Texas, an automotive swap meet in the Houston area, comes to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds this weekend for an auto, truck or motorcycle part swap meet. 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (Friday), 7 a.m.-4 p.m. (Saturday-Sunday). 2. Watch movies in the park

3. Craft beer, live music at Southern Star Brewery
May 19

Nonprofit company Transient Mic hosts the Brewin’ Up Somethin’ Good concert and fundraiser at Southern Star Brewing Company on Saturday. 4. Grand opening of locally-owned bike shop
May 19

Owner Gary Rogers hosts the grand opening of his bicycle shop, Race Ready Repair Custom Bicycle Shop, on Saturday. The grand opening features raffle prize drawings every hour and complementary beer. The shop, which operates within Conroe Coffee, sells Salsa, Surly, All-City and Orbea brand bikes, as well as offers repairs and custom builds. 5. Las Vegas Band makes stop at Lake Conroe for Guinness World Record tour
May 20

The Black Donnelly’s Dublin, a band that regularly performs in Las Vegas, is coming to the Waterpoint Marina on Sunday as part of their quest to earn a Guinness World Record for playing 60 shows in 50 states in 40 days. Lake Conroe will be their only Texas show on the American tour. All proceeds from T-shirt and CD sales benefit the Crisis Assistance Center of Montgomery County. 2-4:30 p.m. Free.
