The Weekender Vendor Show event features handmade crafts, homegrown products, boutique items, food and gifts from local vendors and crafters. 3. Free monthly art class
Central Market Fine Art Gallery hosts a day of art and antiques, featuring more than 400 pieces of art from 17 local artists. 4. Dr. Seuss Bus Tour debuts on March 4
The inaugural Dr. Seuss’s Super-Dee-Dooper Bus Tour begins its national tour at the Conroe location of 2nd & Charles this Saturday. The bus will travel the country, bringing an interactive world of Dr. Seuss to bookstores, schools, libraries and festivals in Jackson, Mississippi, New Orleans, Louisiana and the Houston area. The events feature kid-friendly activities, games and characters from Dr. Seuss’s books. 5. Rising Stars and Legends of Texas kicks off on March 4
Nonprofit organization Greater Conroe Arts Alliance hosts the second annual Rising Stars and Legends of Texas event on March 4-10. The seven-day event is filled with art, poetry, music and theatre.
