Monday is the last day to register to vote in the March primary election, and other events in Conroe and Montgomery area this week, Feb. 5-9:

2. Willis City Council members gather for special meeting on Feb. 6

Willis City Council members meet Tuesday evening for a special meeting to consider various agenda items, including an ordinance calling for an election to reauthorize the local sales tax of .25 percent for street maintenance and repair. 3. Willis ISD Board of Trustees gather for special meeting on Feb. 7

4. Conroe City Council members meet Feb. 7-8

Conroe City Council members meet Wednesday and Thursday for the regularly scheduled workshop and voting meetings. Council members will discuss and take possible action on various agenda items, including approving the Conroe Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Hotel Occupancy Tax grants and considering a feasibility study for the Conroe Event Center and the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center.
