City council to discuss transportation and neighborhood park
During Tuesday night’s meeting, council members will consider a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a memorandum of understanding regarding guiding principles for multi-agency communications, data and video sharing. The agreement would be between the city of McKinney and Dallas-Fort Worth Intelligent Transportation System Partners. Council will also discuss an agreement with Google to join the Waze Connected Citizen’s Program. The program is a free, two-way data exchange program giving users more data, including road closures and traffic jams.
Council members will also discuss a site plan for George Webb Park, located at 1400 Millbend Drive. Proposed amenities at the 11.38-acre park include a play structure, swings, musical stations, pavilions, a basketball court, trails and an interactive water pump as part of a dry river bed feature.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 222 N. Tennessee St., McKinney.

Live music at Cadillac Pizza Pub
Cadillac Pizza Pub will host a singer-songwriter night Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Kevin Edwards, a Texas musician, will perform. On Thursday night, Justin Mason, a Grapevine local, will perform original songs and covers starting at 8 p.m. More information can be found on Cadillac’s website.

Collin County Commissioner Precinct 3 forum
The McKinney Chamber of Commerce, The Grand Hotel and Rick’s Chophouse will host a candidate forum for Collin County Commissioners Precinct 3. This event is free and open to the public. 6:15-8 p.m. The Grand Hotel, 114 W. Louisiana St.
