Dive-In movie night at Apex Centre outdoor pool

The movie “Sing” is screened at the Apex Centre’s outdoor pool. Attendees should bring their own floats. The movie begins at 7:45 p.m. 7-10 p.m. $5. Apex Centre, 3003 Alma Road. 

July 8
Pecan Grove Cemetery hosts art day

Art Without Walls is an event where attendees can create art, listen to live music and enjoy drinks throughout the afternoon. 1-5 p.m. Free. Pecan Grove Cemetery, 1701 S. McDonald St. 972-542-4029.

July 21
Hawaiian Night at the Aquatics Center

This event features games, prizes, food and fun for the whole family. 5:30-8:30 p.m. Free (children 3 and younger), $2 (children 4-9), $3 (adults and children 10 and older). Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center, 1701 N. McDonald St.

July 27-29, Aug. 3-5, 10-11
MRT performs ‘The Face on the Barroom Floor’

The MRT performs this play about villains separating Madeline from her fortune and love. Times and costs vary. McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St.

Aug. 7
Meet neighbors and McKinney police officers

At National Night Out attendees can talk to officers and find events in their neighborhood. Times vary. Free. Locations vary.
