June 15
Flower Mound movie night features ‘Coco’


The community is invited to watch Disney’s “Coco” in an indoor pool. Children age 10 and older are welcome without an adult present. 7:30-9 p.m. Free with admission to the CAC. Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road, Flower Mound.


June 16
Kraig Parker pays tribute to Elvis at Castle Hills

​Kraig Parker, an Elvis Presley tribute artist, takes the stage in Castle Hills. This event features bounce houses, a balloon artist, a petting zoo and face painters as well as local food trucks. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free. 2540 King Arthur Blvd., Lewisville.


June 28
Women Leading Business Conference to be held

The day-long conference features female speakers with inspiring messages. It also features breakout sessions that offer resources to help attendees achieve success personally and professionally. 8 a.m. $85. MCL Grand, 100 N. Charles St., Lewisville.


July 3
Sounds of Red, White & Lewisville features multi-act concert

Lewisville holds a multi-act concert event and fireworks show. The event starts at 6 p.m. with children’s carnival attractions. Rising country artist Sarah Hobbs takes the stage at 6 p.m. followed by Desperado – Eagles Tribute at 8 p.m. The fireworks show above the MCL Grand starts at approximately 9:30 p.m. Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church St., Lewisville.


July 4
Freedom Festival & Fireworks to be held in Castle Hills

Castle Hills 20th annual July 4th Freedom Festival starts at 5:30 p.m. as a DJ spins tunes that will keep everyone entertained. This year’s activities include the largest inflatable maze in Texas, bounce houses, water slides, and a foam and bubble area as well as caricature artists, trackless train rides and face painters. 5:30-9:30 p.m. Free. 2540 King Arthur Blvd., Lewisville.


July 4
Pat Green headlines Flower Mound’s Independence Fest

Pat Green headlines the Independence Day event. The day of activities begins with the annual children’s parade at
10 a.m. and concludes with a fireworks show at around 9:50 p.m. Gates open at Bakersfield Park at 5 p.m. Free. Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane, Flower Mound.
