ICYMI: These 11 restaurants have opened in Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake so far this year

As more restaurants open, local residents can find increasing options when it comes to choosing a place to eat. Here are 11 newly opened restaurants as previously featured in Community Impact Newspaper.

LoneStar Cafe opened Feb. 11 at 1300 S. Main St., Grapevine. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and its menu features a range of items including Belgian waffles, crepes, poached eggs, sandwiches, salads and more. New restaurant Coolgreens opened March 25 at 2211 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 500, Southlake. The eatery offers salads, wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads and quinoa bowls. Although Coolgreens has several restaurants in Oklahoma, this is the first Texas location. 817-912-1397. www.coolgreens.com

The Experience Restaurant and Performing Arts Center opened April 27 at 1713 Cross Roads Drive, Grapevine. The restaurant serves American chophouse fusion food with a menu featuring different cuts of steak, seafood, lamb, salads, desserts and more. Food is prepared by the house chef, and customers can order premium wines. F2 Fusion Flavors opened May 3 at 2001 W. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 119, Southlake. The restaurant features food mostly from South India, and its menu includes dishes such as tandoori chicken, curries and different kinds of biryani cooked with basmati rice. Burgerim opened in Colleyville on March 30. The fast-casual restaurant is known for its burgers, which customers can customize with different options of buns, patties, toppings and sauces. Herencia Texican Cuisine held a grand opening Feb. 1 in the Shops of Southlake, located at 1431 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 551, Southlake, in the former Mi Chula’s location.
