Live music and 2 other things to do in Grapevine and Southlake this weekend, March 8-10


Area residents can enjoy themselves at one of these events. This weekend will also bring a time change, as clocks jump ahead one hour March 10 due to daylight saving time.

Friday, March 8

1. Live music in Southlake

Local band Broken Code is set to play at Taverna Rossa in Southlake. Their set may range from classic rock to Texas blues. 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Free admission, food and drink available for purchase. Taverna Rossa, 1151 E. Southlake Blvd., Southlake. 817-809-4533.

Saturday, March 9

2. Spring celebration in Grapevine

Organic garden and pet care business Marshall Grain Co. hosts the March Madness Spring Festival featuring live music, pets for adoption, refreshments, vendors and special offers on products. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free. Marshall Grain Co., 3525 William D. Tate Ave., Grapevine. 817-416-6600.

Sunday, March 10

3. Doll show in Southlake

Toy collectors can visit the Hilton in Southlake for a show and sales event featuring dolls and toy accessories. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. $5 per person. Hilton Southlake Town Square, 1400 Plaza Place, Southlake.
