This weekend explore what local cities and businesses are offering to help residents develop healthier habits.


1. Unleavened Fresh Kitchen and indoor cycling studio partner to offer healthy incentives

Unleavened Fresh Kitchen in Southlake and premium indoor cycling studio, ZYN22, are taking on New Year’s resolutions together. For the month of January, customers can receive discounted offerings available at both company’s Southlake locations. The offers include 10 percent off at ZYNN22 with a $15 purchase from Unleavened Fresh Kitchen, and 10 percent off at Unleavened with the purchase of a three-ride pack at ZYNN22.

2. Grapevine Estate sale to be held

Antiques, art and more will be available for purchase from the home of a Grapevine resident who lived in the area for more than 30 years.

3. LiveFit Southlake hosts Health Fair

There will be a free Health Fair at The Marq Southlake. Guests can meet with vendors and learn about the ways they are promoting health and wellness in the community. The event will feature free health screenings, free samples from vendors, raffles with prizes and coupons for healthy foods and more. Vendors include CareNow, Texas Sports and Spine, Protein Fit Kitchen, Snappy Salads, Camp Gladiator, Southlake DPS and more.

4. Colleyville Public Library hosts healthy habits workshop

The Colleyville Public Library will host a workshop called “Reinvent Your Style with Bonnie Kurtz” as part of its New Year, New You series. Guests can expect tips on how to revamp their looks during the class.
