Transportation update: Construction to widen US 380 to be complete by end of 2018


US 380 widening

Work on US 380 between Lovers Lane and CR 26 is expected to be finished by the end of the year. The road is being widened to six lanes with overpasses at Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway.

The next phase of the project will widen the roadway between CR 26 and Loop 288. That phase will include overpasses at FM 423, Teel Parkway and Legacy Drive.

Timeline: September 2015-December 2018
Cost: $60 million
