Transportation updates | Preston Road


Preston Road construction

Construction began in February to add turn lanes at five intersections on Preston Road. The intersections included in this project include Warren Parkway, Lebanon Road, Wade Boulevard, Stonebrook Parkway and Main Street. The traffic signals at these intersections will also be modified. This construction is separate from the work that has been done on the roadway in recent months. Previous lane closures were related to utility installations and private developments building entrances from Preston.

Timeline: February-October
Cost: $3.5 million
Funding sources: city of Frisco, Texas Department of Transportation
