Frisco ISD board of trustees to discuss school safety

During Monday’s meeting, the board will hear a report on school safety nearly three weeks after a mass shooting in Parkland, Florida. The open meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the FISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive.

Election Day is Tuesday

Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for Election Day on Tuesday. Voters will decide which Democratic and Republican candidates will be placed on the general election ballot in November.

Frisco City Council meets Tuesday evening

The council meeting begins at 5 p.m. at Frisco City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Council will discuss purchasing 10 acres of land near Dr Pepper Ballpark and updating the Frisco Economic Development Corp.’s bylaws.
