Southwest Austinites can support sex trafficking survivors by getting their nails done in the Adamo Nail Bar traveling Airstream boutique on Friday. Here’s a look at other events and fundraisers happening this weekend:

Friday, Nov. 10

 

Adamo Nail Bar sets up at The Hive

Adamo Nail Bar, a traveling Airstream boutique, will set up at The Hive Austin every second and fourth Friday of the month. The traveling beauty parlor offers a range of nail services including manicures, pedicures and nail art. A few beauty products will also be available for purchase. Revenue from the nail bar is used to support survivors of sex trafficking. Prices vary based on services. Appointments are open now.

Saturday, Nov. 11

Belterra community celebrates Veterans Day

The family-friendly event will include food, music and a raffle. Kids activities such as an inflatable obstacle course will also be available. Proceeds will benefit the ReGroup Foundation, an 18-month program that helps veterans transition back to civilian life after deployment. Entrance fee will vary based on size of party.

Shop and eat at area craft fair

Over 100 artisans will be in attendance at the Bethany Lutheran Church and Preschool craft fair and bake sale. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the on-site café. Proceeds will support Mission Grants, a Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Free.

Local nonprofit closes year with benefit concert

Jump On It, a youth-led outdoor urban concert series, is wrapping up the year with the second annual Jump On It Awards. This event will include dinner and entertainment while recognizing the artists and individuals who made the 2016-2017 summer concert series possible. $30.

Salvation Army hosts fundraiser

Singer-songwriter Cory Morrow returns for the fourth annual Rock The Red Kettle ATX fundraiser. Food, live and silent auctions, and Texas music will be available throughout the weekend. All proceeds benefit The Salvation Army’s Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. A celebrity golf tournament will also take place Sunday. $45.
