Central Austin saw a dip in the number of homes sold over the last year as compared to the previous 12 months, but average prices ticked up.

Number of Homes Sold

According to data from the Austin Board of Realtors, the total number of home sales between June 2018 and May 2019 was 2.68% lower than the year prior.

Average Home Sales Price

The average Central Austin home sale price rose 9.02% year-over-year, jumping from $632,000 between June 2017 and May 2018 to $689,000 between June 2018 and May 2019.

Average Days on Market

In nine of Central Austin's 11 ZIP codes, homes spent less time on the market between June 2018 and May 2019 than they did in the previous year.
