Although temperatures will dip into the fifties this weekend, there are still activities to enjoy for those who wish to brave the cold weather. Here are five events taking place in New Braunfels Jan. 12-14.

Jan. 12
Paint Starry Night over Gruene Hall

The artists at Painting with a Twist will walk you step by step through creating a painting of Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night over New Braunfels landmark Gruene Hall. BYOB. $45. 7-10 p.m. 1551 N. Walnut Ave, Suite 20. 830-620-7928.

New Braunfels Antique Show

The Heritage Event Company will present the New Braunfels Antique Show, featuring more than 50,000 square feet of merchandise. Tickets are valid for entry to the event all weekend, and parking is free. $6 (adults); $3 (children 9-12). New Braunfels Civic & Convention Center, 375 S. Jan. 12-14
Go to a drive-in movie

Head out to the Stars and Stripes Drive-In Theatre at 1178 Kroesche Lane, New Braunfels. Jan. 13
Geocaching at Fischer Park

Join the New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department at 10 a.m.-noon for a Geocaching event a Fischer Park Nature Education Center, 1935 Hilltop Summit Road, New Braunfels. Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunting game that uses GPS-enabled devices. Free. 830-221-4378.

Jan. 13
Cody Canada & The Departed

Catch the Texas red dirt artist at Gruene Hall, 1281 Gruene Road, New Braunfels. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 10:30 p.m. $20. 830-629-5077.

Jan. 14
Football Frenzy

Football Frenzy is hosted by New Braunfels radio station KNBT 92.1 FM. The day will feature drink specials, free tailgating, food and prizes. Noon-3 p.m. Black Whale Pub, 367 Main Plaza. 830-625-6605.
