DATA: Learn about Cedar Park’s workforce and industries


Numbers released by the U.S. Census Bureau in December reveal a glimpse into the commutes, occupations and industries of those working in Cedar Park.


Of the population over the age of 16, 72% are in the labor force and 69.2% are employed.


91.3% of workers commute to their jobs.

Of those commuters, 8.3% carpool and 0.7% take public transportation.

The average travel time to work is 27.4 minutes.

  2. Professional, scientific, and management, and administrative and waste – 18.5%
  3. Retail trade – 12.6%
  4. Manufacturing – 9.6%
  5. Finance and insurance, and real estate and rental leasing – 9.1%
