Residents of Cedar Park and Leander can recycle their Christmas trees through city programs that use the trees for mulch.

Leander
Trees cleared of all decorations are collected at Robin Bledsoe Park for recycling. The trees will be used as mulch in city trails and landscaping, and contributions can be shared on social media with the hashtag #LeanderTreeRecycling.

Boy Scout Troop 233
The troop will pick up trees within Cedar Park or Leander city limits, or within 10 miles of the Cedar Park Recreation Center. Pickup forms may be found online. All decorations must be removed from the trees.

Cedar Park
The city of Cedar Park gathers undecorated trees, which will be turned into tree mulch used for city park and facilities landscaping purposes. Free seedlings for different Texas trees are provided to participants while supplies last.
