1. Congregation Shir Ami hosts ‘Joy of Aging Shabbat’ in Cedar Park
During the congregation’s regular Shabbat Eve service before the Sabbath, elders are interviewed for a short video documentary. The service aims to acknowledge the challenges of growing older and demonstrate that learning, discovery and pleasure continue into old age. A catered reception follows the service.

2. ‘The Incredibles 2’ plays in Elizabeth Milburn Park
As part of the Movies in the Park series, people may bring blankets and chairs and settle in for an outdoor movie. Attendees can bring a picnic but glass containers are prohibited.

The Leander High School Golf Booster Club is having its 14th annual Shootout Fundraiser. The event will have catered food, a raffle and prizes.

9. Cedar Park community invited to fly kites at fourth annual festival
During the fourth annual Cedar Park Kite Festival, members of the community gather to fly kites. The event, which will take place at Elizabeth Milburn Park, is family-friendly. Attendees should bring their own kites. The event is presented by Angie ATX.
