“Follow the Star” is the annual outdoor production of scenes from the life of Jesus Christ.

8. Lakeline Mall hosts Disney Junior Play Date

9. Holiday Hack-a-Thon gives kids a chance to compete for prizes
Code Ninjas of Cedar Park hosts a hack-a-thon open to the public for children ages 7-14. Participants compete with other coders to create a new game using Scratch, a kid-friendly programming language. Winners receive prizes.

11. Families visit Tree Lighting and Santa’s Workshop in Cedar Park
The city of Cedar Park hosts a tree lighting and Santa’s Workshop event featuring live music, games, food, photos with Santa, and arts and crafts. Originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, the event has been rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 8, due to forecasted rainfall. The change in date means some activities including carriage rides will not be available, according to a press release.
