July Wine Walk at Hill Country Galleria

The Hill Country Galleria’s Wine Walk takes place the second Thursday of each month. The event is a unique wine and social gathering experience during which attendees can get to know the eclectic mix of businesses in the galleria while discovering wines from all over the world. Guests start at Twin Liquors to pick up a map to the Wine Walk. The map also serves as the ticket for each stop on the walk. The event is open to everyone. Lumiere Lullabies

The Lake Travis Community Library, located at 1938 Lohmans Crossing Road, Austin, will host the musical duo Lumiere Lullabies on July 12 at 4 p.m. The group, featuring vocalist Giovanna McDanel and guitarist Giovanni Mera, will perform soothing classics from films and musicals. Third annual Lone Star Thunder Run

The Lake Travis Powerboat Association will host the third annual Lone Star Thunder Run beginning at 10 a.m. at 5973 Hiline Road, Austin. Proceeds from the event, sponsored by Lone Star Beer, will benefit the Central and South Texas chapters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Last year’s $40,000 in donations helped grant the wishes of over 4,900 children, according to the LTPA. Gardening seminar: The Nature and Spirit of Japanese Gardens

Zilker Botanical Garden, located at 2220 Barton Springs Road, Austin, will hold a free gardening seminar hosted by botanist Dr. Molly Ogorzaly at 10 a.m. The seminar, taking place in the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, will focus on various Western and Eastern gardening traditions. Zilker’s well-loved Taniguchi Garden is celebrating its 50-year anniversary this year. Vintage dinner at Stone House Vineyard

Spicewood’s Stone House Vineyard, located at 24350 Haynie Flat Road, Spicewood, is hosting a dinner and celebration featuring its new vintage wine selection. The winery, founded in 2002, is nestled within the Texas Hill Country overlooking Lake Travis.
