Here are some events and activities happening this weekend in and around Georgetown.

1. Library hosts Spooky Marine Madness event
The family-friendly event includes a Halloween-themed puppet show, candy and other activities. 6-8 p.m. Free. Georgetown Public Library, 402 W. Eighth St. 512-930-3551.

2. World Series duel continues between Astros, Dodgers
The Houston Astros are back in the Major League Baseball World Series for the first time since 2005 (back when they still played in the National League) and are taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers for the title. After splitting their first two games in Los Angeles, the teams arrive in Houston Friday for Game 3, which is scheduled to start at 7:20 p.m. Game 4 and Game 5 will follow on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. 3. 50 Fellas Foodfest raises money for local schools

4. Last day to check out Art Hop exhibits
The Georgetown Art Center’s 10th annual edition of Art Hop features works from Texas artists. Entries are exhibited for free at the center, located at 816 S. 5. Church of the Nazarene hosts Fall Festival

6. Boo Bash brings music, treats to the Square
