Empower children


CASA of Williamson County trains court-appointed volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect as they seek safe and permanent homes.

Ride On Center for Kids (R.O.C.K.) offers therapeutic horseback riding and hippotherapy for children and adults with cognitive and physical challenges, as well as veterans and service members. Volunteers can work directly with the students, veterans or horses or help out in the R.O.C.K. office or for special events.

Feed the hungry


Helping Hands of Georgetown gives free bagged lunches to people in Georgetown experiencing homelessness and seeks to provide basic services and support to those in need. Volunteers meet Tuesday through Thursday in the parking lot across the street from the north entrance of the Georgetown Public Library at 402 W. Eighth St.
