4 new restaurants coming soon to Central Austin


District Kitchen + Cocktails

This new restaurant from Amir and Ali Hajimaleki, the brothers behind Circle C restaurant District Kitchen + Cocktails, will open in the spring at 7858 Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin. The second location will expand the offerings from the original restaurant and will serve lunch, dinner, happy hour and weekend brunch. www.districtaustin.com

Rosedale Kitchen + Bar

This all-day restaurant will open in early spring at 3800 N. Lamar Blvd., Ste. 170, Austin, in the space previously occupied by Guild, which is owned by the same hospitality group, Chameleon Companies, and is relocating downtown. The new restaurant will serve a light breakfast menu, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. www.rosedalekb.com

The Lost Lei

This new tiki bar at at 117 W. Fourth St., Ste. 101A, Austin, will open in March. It will share a building with The Capital Grille and Parker Jazz Club. www.lostleiaustin.com

Salt Traders Coastal Cooking

The Round Rock restaurant will open a second location this year at 1101 S. Mopac Expy., Austin, in the Barton Oaks Plaza. Managed by the same team behind local chain Jack Allen’s Kitchen, the new Salt Traders location will partner with the seafood vendors nationally to ensure the freshest seafood is always on hand. www.salttraderscc.com
