Jennifer Simon is a finance executive and certified public accountant with a consistent history of delivering results. She began her career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse Coopers and has served in financial leadership roles at Dell Inc., Hart InterCivic and startup businesses in the Austin area.
Joining the Community Impact Newspaper family in early 2016, Jennifer found the perfect blend of continuing her career and connecting to the community. She has always been committed to the spirit of small business, having owned and managed several small businesses in the Austin area throughout her career.
Her unique background in public accounting, auditing, small-business consulting, private-equity controllership and large corporate finance demonstrates her diverse set of experiences that can be leveraged to drive a business and run its business activities. She thrives when she is able to partner and cross-collaborate with a business to define and execute the company’s strategic goals. Jennifer has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in professional accounting from The University of Texas. She received the Top Ten Award for her CPA certification from the state of Texas.
