Allison Altobelli joined Community Impact Newspaper in 2019 as the publisher of the Atlanta metro. In her role, she is responsible for leading the company into its sixth metro region and third state expansion.

Allison brings to Community Impact Newspaper more than 15 years of newspaper sales leadership experience. During this time, she led sales and operations teams at award-winning publisher brands including The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. In addition, she serves as the board president for the News Advertising Coalition, a newspaper trade organization dedicated to enhancing national and local print and digital revenue strategy.

Throughout her career, her passion for print shined bright in an industry where the transition to digital eclipsed the focus on legacy products. This passion led her to join Community Impact Newspaper, where a print-first mission and commitment to local journalism has helped the company to grow at an unprecedented rate. Here, Allison feels united with a committed team of positive, supportive and inspiring leaders whose vision for the future of news journalism aligns with her own. She is honored and thrilled to bring CI to Atlanta!

Writing in a journal. Each day she records five good things that happened that day. She has been practicing this activity since 2017.

A fun fact about Allison …

She competed as an NCAA athlete on the Springfield College gymnastics team (Springfield, Massachusetts). She credits her competitive spirit to athletics!
