Event Details

STAGE RIGHT of Texas, resident theatre company at the historic Crighton Theatre, presents musical comedy Legally Blonde July 8-24, 2016. The show is directed by Tina Cafeo.

OMG, like, you totally have to see Legally Blonde the Musical! Get your pink on and join the fun for this all singing, all dancing, feel-good musical comedy that is so much fun it should be illegal! Legally Blonde the Musical was nominated for 7 Tony Awards in 2007 and won the Olivier Award for Best Musical. Based on the hit movie of the same name, the show follows college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods as she puts down the credit cards, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law School in pursuit of her boyfriend Warner, who just dumped her for the more ‘serious’ Vivienne. Elle learns more at Harvard than she bargained for most importantly that being true to oneself never goes out of style. Legally Blonde the Musical will take you from the social whirl of California campus life to Harvard’s halls of justice with our heroine Elle, her Chihuahua, Bruiser and the bull-dog-toting-hairdresser Paulette.

Show dates are July 8-24 with Friday & Saturday performances at 8 pm and Sunday matinees at 2 pm. Performances will be held at the historic Crighton Theatre at 234 N. Main in downtown Conroe. Tickets for Legally Blonde can be obtained by calling the Crighton Theatre box office at 936-441-SHOW (7469) or online at www.stage-right.org .
