Early voting for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees Place 1 run-off election begins today, June 1, and ends June 9.
Early voting will be held at The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine and Colleyville City Hall, 100 Main St., Colleyville.

Candidates for Place 1 are Mark Assaad and Mindy Mcclure.
Assaad, a professional engineer, has served his community by mentoring young engineers, volunteering his time with area professional, religious and community organizations by serving on various boards. If elected, he plans to increase opportunities for AVID, ASPIRE and STEM programs by testing students sooner for earlier enrollment, responsibly spending tax dollars and strengthening programs for students with learning differences.
McClure, who holds an English degree from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi and a law degree from Texas Tech, said she believes her 18 years of volunteer work with GCISD would give her a perspective unique from from that of other trustees. She said if elected she would use her classroom-level knowledge of the district and law degree to continue advancing the quality of GCISD’s education.
Election Day is June 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bransford Elementary School, 601 Glade Road and at The REC of Grapevine, 1175 Municipal Way, Grapevine.
Residents must be registered to vote, and a valid form of ID must be presented at the polling place.
