The ongoing rehabilitation of Spring Valley Road includes repairs of pavement and sidewalk from Coit Road to Weatherred Drive; replacement of the bridge at Cottonwood Creek Drive and Hunt Branch; signal upgrades at Waterfall Way, Maham Drive and Waterview Drive; intersection and signal improvements at Weatherred; street lighting upgrades in the median; median closures; and improved pedestrian crossings.

Various lane closures will occur throughout the project limits. Up to one lane in each direction may be closed daily, and a second lane in each direction may be closed during off-peak hours.

The $13 million project—paid for by the cities of Richardson and Dallas, Dallas County, and regional toll revenue—began in April and is slated for completion in February 2019, according to the city of Richardson.
