Dallas County has confirmed 112 additional cases of the coronavirus, bringing the countywide case count to 3,352.

“This is our fourth highest day of positive tests,” county Judge Clay Jenkins said in an April 29 news release. “Unfortunately, halfway through the week, we are on pace to experience our highest average daily count of COVID-19 cases this week.”

The county is also reporting five new deaths. Patients included three men and two women, all over the age of 50. So far in Dallas County, 99 people have died from the virus.
