With all precincts reporting in Collin County and Denton County, a June 5 runoff election will take place between Julie Holmer and Chris Robertson. Holmer had 10,890 votes for 33.8% and Robertson had 10,506 for 32.6%. David Smith had 4,587 votes for 14.2%, Sandeep Srivastava had 3,771 votes for 11.7% and Bill Lisle III had 2,452 votes for 7.6%

All results are unofficial until canvassed.

Julie Holmer continues to lead the Plano City Council Place 7 race which appears it will end up in a runoff election.


Holmer has 9,339 votes for 33.9%, followed by Chris Robertson with 9,026 votes for 32.7% David Smith with 3,806 votes is followed by Sandee Srivastava with 3,283 votes and Bill Lisle III with 2,111 votes.

Voting tallies for the Plano City Council Place 7 special election show five candidates vying for the position vacated by Lily Bao when she ran for mayor.

Julie Holmer is leading with 7,579 votes, or 34.7%. Chris Robertson is second with 7,100 votes, or 32.5%, followed by David Smith with 2,974 votes, or 13.6%; Sandeep Srivastava with 2,844 votes, or 12.1%; and Bill Lisle III with 1,576 votes, or 7.2%.


Numbers from Denton and Collin counties are included in the vote totals.

If no candidate finishes with 50% of the vote, a runoff election will take place between the top two candidates.
