A building providing flexible-use office space without requiring long-term leases is scheduled to open soon in west Plano.

NewGate Development announced Tuesday in a statement that the CityCentral office building would open March 1 with 36,000 square feet of total workspace, including private offices, conference rooms and communal areas. The building would be located about a half-mile south of the Toyota Motor North America headquarters currently under construction in an area undergoing a flurry of corporate office expansion.

The CityCentral offices are an attempt to meet demand for "cost effective, turnkey office space without a long-term commitment" in the rapidly growing region, according to the developer.

The facility would be located at 6010 W. Spring Creek Parkway.
