An additional 16 positive cases of the coronavirus were reported April 28 by Collin County health officials.

The total number of cases for the county is now 692, according to the report. Of these, Plano residents account for 203 cases, as shown on the county’s online dashboard.

Two deaths were also reported April 28. A 90-year-old McKinney man and a 102-year-old Plano man, both with underlying health conditions, were the 18th and 19th deaths of a person who had tested positive for coronavirus in Collin County.

There are 200 active cases of COVID-19 as of April 28. Of those who have tested positive, 473 have successfully recovered, 26 are hospitalized and 174 remain in home isolation, the report stated.

There have been 6,908 negative tests in Collin County, and there are 1,092 people being monitored for the virus as of April 28.
