Wright is a restaurant industry veteran and has worked as an owner and operator and in key management positions for highly regarded concepts for more than 20 years in Texas and Alabama. He was promoted from Assistant General Manager at Del Frisco’s Grille Southlake to his current position. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management, Sorley started out as a dishwasher at a local restaurant during college. From there, he went on to work many positions at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Texas and Ohio for 11 years, and then most recently for Mexican Sugar Cocina y Cantina at The Shops at Legacy. Sorley, a resident of Forney, and Wright, an Argyle resident, said they are very excited to be a part of the Southlake-based restaurant's launch into Collin County. Both also look forward to being a part of local organizations and charities in Plano and Frisco. “We had been looking for the perfect spot to serve guests in Collin County for a while now and we are excited to be expanding into Plano and Frisco," said Wright. "We  look forward to meeting new guests but also to bring favorite dishes closer to home for those already devoted to Del Frisco’s Grille recipes, drinks and convivial atmosphere.” The new restaurant will be located at 7200 Bishop Road, Ste. D9.  For more information, visit https://delfriscosgrille.com/plano.
