From various lane closures near the Dallas North Tollway to the showing of "Finding Dory" at Schimelpfenig Library, here are some things to follow in Plano this week.
Nightly lane closures
All lanes east- and westbound of Spring Creek Parkway, including U-turn lanes, between north- and southbound Dallas Parkway will be closed nightly from 8 p.m.-5 a.m.
The direct-connector ramps from southbound Dallas North Tollway to the President George Bush Turnpike will also be closed nightly from 10 p.m.-5 a.m.
These lane closures will occur nightly from Feb. 20 to the morning of Feb. 22, according to a release from the North Texas Tollway Authority.
Plano Planning and Zoning meeting
The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission will host its regular meeting Monday at 1520 K Ave., Plano. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Family movie
Schimelpfenig Library will be showing “Finding Dory” as part of the library's “Make it, Take it Movies” event. The movie will be shown Monday from 2-4 p.m. at Schimelpfenig Library, 5024 Custer Road, Plano. At the free event, kids of all ages are also welcome to make a related craft while watching the movie.

Rhythmic Souls Tap Co. is performing its spring show “Rhythms of Life” on Monday at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Ave., Plano. “Rhythms of Life” combines tap dancing, live music, theater and more to convey the coming of age. There will be three performances Monday at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and may be purchased on

‘Collide’ Art Exhibit
Matriart Studio and
Aliester Moffitt worked together to create ‘Collide,’ an art exhibit showcasing a collaboration of precision cuts, oil paints and wood staining. The exhibit will take place at The Gallery at the Courtyard Theater, 1509 H Ave., Plano, Feb. 21-March 27. The exhibit is open to the public Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., but hours may change depending on events and staffing.
