Application packets for three board of trustees positions up or election can be picked up beginning Jan. 15 at the FISD Administration Building.

The elections for Frisco ISD board of trustees positions will take place May 9.

The regular elections include places 6 and 7 for three-year terms. The special election includes place 3 for a term that expires in 2016.

The former place 3 board member, Dan Mossakowski, announced his resignation last May for family and business reasons. John Classe was appointed to finish Mossakowski's term.

Applications for places 6 and 7 can be turned in from Jan. 28 through Feb. 27. Place 3 applications can be turned in from Feb. 10 through March 9.

Finished applications should be returned to Beverly Brunson, assistant to the superintendent and board, in the Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive.

FISD residents vote elect the board members for at-large positions. Board members are required to be registered voters and live within FISD's borders.
