Traffic changes are underway beginning July 12 on Teel Parkway, south of Lebanon Road, according to the city's communications office.

Southbound traffic will be shifted to share the east half of the road with northbound traffic so that city crews can repair damaged pavement on the west half of the road.

The detours are expected to be in place for one to two weeks, depending on how long the repairs take.

Southbound traffic wanting to travel through the intersection will need to be in the left-hand turn lane and follow the construction signs. Southbound traffic on Teel Parkway will switch back to the west side of the road at the intersection with Barkley Drive. Barkley drive will be closed at the Teel/Barkley intersection, so Lakeside at Lone Star Ranch residents will use Carraway Drive to enter and leave their neighborhood.
