City considers changes to the Community Activities Center

The Grapevine City Council is considering an expansion and renovation of the Community Activities Center.

Pros Consulting president Leon Younger and Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture architects presented a program and conceptual design to the council in early May.

Younger will return to the Council next month to present a business plan with operational costs for the third concept, which included increasing the size of the fitness room and leisure pool, adding a party room and moving the Senior Activities Center to the area.

The total project cost is estimated at $28.5 million.
