McKinney Repertory Theatre Presents: “Don’t Dress for Dinner”
With his wife out of town, his best friend Bernard attempts to plan a romantic evening for his French mistress. Hidden identities and infidelities are exposed. Performances are held at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St., on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available online for $18 for adults and $15 for students age 13 years and older and seniors age 55 and older.

Crusin’ for a Cause Car, Truck & Cycle Show
Hosted by Stonebridge United Methodist Church and Community Lifeline Center, the fourth annual event is open to people of all ages. This event includes door prizes, food (for purchase) and a variety of cars, trucks and cycles on display. The car show will run from 8 a.m.-noon at SUMC, 1800 S. Stonebridge Drive, McKinney. Admission is free but donations are accepted and benefit the Community Lifeline Center. More information can be found at SUMC’s website.

Zip lining
The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting a zip line day from 1-4 p.m. at 1 Nature Place, McKinney. Guests will climb a 23-foot tree and zip line 487 feet. Tickets are $12 per person, per ride. Pre-registration is required and can be done on the Heard Natural Science Museum website.

Jazz Under the Stars
Attendees enjoy live music and dancing on an outdoor dance floor at the Wales Manor Winery & Vineyard, 4488 County Road 408, McKinney, from 7-10 p.m. Food and drink are available for purchase. Tickets are $15 per person at the gate. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.

  • Delaney’s Irish Pub, 6150 Eldorado Parkway, Ste. 120, McKinney, hosts brunch from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Stonebridge Ranch Country Club, 7003 Beacon Hill Road, McKinney, offers brunch from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Call 972-529-5991 for reservations.

  • TPC Craig Ranch, 800 Collin McKinney Parkway, has brunch from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Reservations are required.
