Medical Center of McKinney changed its name to Medical City McKinney in December. The hospital has not changed ownership and remains part of HCA Healthcare and maintains its leadership, physicians, nurses and staff, according to hospital officials.

There will be no changes to the list of insurance policies the hospital accepts and all existing insured patients will continue to use their current insurance with no changes or disruption. Those receiving bills should be advised that while the bills do not reflect the new name right away, it may change in time. For those who have specific billing questions, call 866-656-8784.

Medical City Healthcare is comprised of 13 hospitals, seven provider-based ERs, six children’s urgent care centers, and 29 CareNow urgent care centers serve patients across North Texas.
