Lewisville Chamber of Commerce President Ray Hernandez announced his intention to resign, effective Oct. 31, according to a news release from the chamber.
The chamber’s executive board named board member Bill Lawrence the interim president.
Hernandez was with the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce for 4 and a half years.
“It was an incredible experience and I got to work with some fantastic people,” Hernandez said. “I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish in the time that I was there. The future is extremely bright.”
The chamber has started the search for a full-time president.
