The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce in January launched a new brand for the organization, which has been "created to represent the future of the Fort Worth business community," according to a chamber news release.

The chamber's new logo was in part created to help "modernize" the organization and attract new business leaders in Fort Worth, President Brandom Genglebach said. The new logo features a star to provide a connection to the previous chamber logo and as a representation of a boot spur, and the red color is a connection to chamber partners Visit Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

"Over the last year, we've been able to reevaluate our programming and initiatives, shifting our efforts and resources to ensure our ability to positively impact the Fort Worth economy," Gengelbach said in the release. "Our new brand identity better reflects our new programming and initiatives as we work to attract the next generation of leaders, visionaries and businesses in Fort Worth."

The "fresh new look" is an exciting undertaking for the chamber, as it works to stimulate the economy in Fort Worth and the surrounding region, added Katie Douglass, Fort Worth Chamber executive vice president of marketing.

In conjunction with the new brand, the chamber is also launching an updated version of its website at www.fortworthchamber.com. The new website is designed to provide additional tools and resources to chamber members and local businesses, the release said.
