Southlake Public Works Streets & Drainage will begin nighttime work in Southlake Town Square starting on Monday, March 12 through March 30, 2018, weather permitting.

When complete there will be new paving, fresh striping and new handicap ramps starting at State Street from Federal Way south to Civic Place.

Work will require daily closures of the angled parking next to the U.S. Post Office on State Street as well as the parallel parking spots across the street. No parking will be allowed in this area Monday through Friday for the duration of the project. Patrons are asked to use the angled parking on Prospect Street or the West Parking Garage.

Nighttime working hours will be from 8 p.m.-8 a.m. Monday through Thursday to minimize any inconvenience.

Message boards have been placed at the intersection of North Carroll Avenue and Prospect Street, as well as at the intersection of Federal Way and State Street.

The Public Works team will also re-stripe the fire lanes along Main Street from Central Avenue to Summit Avenue, as well as from Summit Avenue from Main Street to Southlake Boulevard. This work will be performed during daytime hours, and parking will be temporarily closed for short durations as needed.
