2. View a classic Christmas movie at Grapevine’s Palace Theatre
"Scrooge," the 1951 film based on Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas tale, is brought to Grapevine’s historic Palace Theatre. The movie stars Alastair Sims, Jack Warner and Kathleen Harrison.

3. Southlake, Mrs. Claus to host breakfast and snacks with Santa
The city of Southlake hosts a full family breakfast with Mrs. Claus and her elves followed by an afternoon with sweet snacks, such as milk and cookies. Both events include holiday crafts, and guests have the opportunity to take photos with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas.
Children are encouraged to compile a wish list, and parents are welcome to bring their cameras. Breakfast runs from 8-11:30 a.m. and snacks will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Snacks are $12 per person, breakfast is $15 per person. Advanced registration is required.

4. Elves to be on the run in Grapevine
The Elves On the Run 5K and Fun Run features food and beverages, vendors and prizes for the best elf costume.

5. Father Christmas comes to The British Emporium
A traditional Christmas Open House will be held at The British Emporium in Grapevine. Father Christmas, the personification of Christmas in Britain, is on hand to greet children. The event will include a sampling of mince pies, Christmas cakes and festive food and drink.

6. Colleyville Lions Club to hold 22nd annual Breakfast with Santa
The Breakfast with Santa event is a family oriented activity with a goal to serve a larger purpose. Children and their families have a pancake and sausage breakfast prepared on site by the Colleyville Lions Club.
Children receive an elf hat and can visit with Santa and may take a photo for an additional $5.00. Each family participating is asked to donate one can of food for GRACE of Grapevine or a pair of used eyeglasses. A raffle is held with the potential to win a large-screen TV.
The fundraiser benefits the Special Needs Assistance Program, Mid-Cities Safe-Haven for Battered Women and Children, Texas Lions Camp Bus Transportation, Large Print Books for the Colleyville Library and Computers for the Blind.

7. Autism-friendly Santa provides holiday joy to children with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral challenges
Southlake ACI Learning Center is offering free photos with autism-friendly Santa, as well as fun family activities. The Santa at the Southlake ACI Learning Center is trained to work with children living with disorders so families can enjoy the event to its fullest. Siblings of children on the spectrum are also welcome to visit with Santa.
This free community event is designed for children who find the "mall Santa" experience overwhelming. Apple cider, gluten-free cookies, crafts, and the ACI Learning Center play area and friendly ACI Learning Center Staff and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts will help keep children entertained until their photo with Santa. Each family will receive their child/family photos with Santa via email after the event.

9. Boat Parade to celebrate the holiday season
The Twinkly Light Boat Parade will take place in Grapevine with watercraft decorated in sparking lights. The route will begin at Twin Coves Marina and will travel though each marina, including Scott’s Landing and Silver Lake.
