Globally inspired tacos and boozy margaritas are now available at Velvet Taco, which opened Feb. 6. The Dallas-based restaurant features tacos with international tastes and flavors, according to a press release. Its tacos include chimichurri steak, Korean fried rice, Cuban pig, spicy tikka chicken and more. Its menu also offers alcoholic drinks such as margaritas, ranch water, palomas and beer. Balkan Garden Bistro opened Feb. 15. An Eastern European restaurant, it features fajita-style cevapi, which are grilled Serbian sausages, as well as steaks, such as tomahawks and filet mignon. It also offers wine, cocktails, ribeye steaks, pasta and burgers. The restaurant has a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse opened Feb. 25 at 4025 William D. Tate Ave., according to a press release. Since opening its first location in 2008, Chama Gaucha has brought the hospitality and tradition of southern Brazil to the United States, the press release stated. The restaurant features meat—including beef, lamb and pork—on a large skewer that is carved tableside.

Heaven on Main opened at 20 S. Main St. in Grapevine in January. According to its website, the spa was created with the intention of providing a home spa feel for men and women to soothe their mind, body and skin in an uplifting and stylish environment. Services include body massages, body treatments and facials as well as various treatment add-ons, such as scalp massages, cupping treatments and Himalayan hot stones. Colleyville

Pretty Brows Lash N’ Skin held its grand opening Feb. 28, according to owner Pratima Neupane. She said the beauty salon offers facials; waxing; and brow services for lamination, threading and microblading. Black Rifle Coffee Company opened in December at 5695 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville.
