Hampton Inn & Suites is Colleyville's first hotel.[/caption]

Colleyville's first hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites, opened Friday, Dec. 2 at 5300 SH 121, Colleyville.

Mark Wood, Colleyville's economic development and communications executive director, said the hotel will generate more revenue for the city.

"We are very excited about the Hampton opening," he said. "It's Colleyville's first hotel, and it's going to be a huge economic driver for the city with all of the events, weddings, work functions and people needing a place to stay for the holidays. It's going to be a great new addition to the city."

The five-story hotel features 91 guest rooms, complimentary breakfast, a fitness center and an indoor pool as well as meeting space for up to 80 people.

Guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi, 42-inch HDTVs, microwaves and mini-fridges.

The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
