What happened
In the fall Frisco ISD’s long-range planning committee explored the district’s small-school model to see whether it needed to change as enrollment increased.

The district sent out a survey to parents and through social media asking for opinions on the model. More than 4,100 people participated in the survey, and 80 percent of respondents said they want to continue the small-school model.

The latest
Deputy Superintendent of Business Services Todd Fouche shared the findings with the school board as well as feedback from the committee that showed a strong support for the small-school model.

What’s next
Based on the community feedback, the district plans to continue with the small-school model.
