Medical City Frisco added new programs to the facility and plans to expand the hospital. The hospital purchased a 3.2-acre plot of land south of the existing hospital where a medical office building is planned. In early 2016, the hospital bought a five-acre tract of land north of the hospital also for further expansion. The land is zoned for a building with a maximum of 15 stories. Plans for that area are undetermined.
