Residents remember 9/11


The annual 9/11 observance ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Freedom Meadow in Warren Sports Complex, 7599 Eldorado Parkway. The Frisco Garden Club will provide bluebonnet seeds to be scattered in the meadow. American Legion, Post 178, and the Frisco Fire and Police departments will also partake in the ceremony.

Frisco Chamber of Commerce hosts senior job and volunteer fair


The first-ever senior citizen job and volunteer fair will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Frisco Senior Center, 6670 Moore St. The free event is hosted by the Senior Service Alliance, a chamber committee dedicated to serving seniors in Frisco. Various businesses and nonprofit organizations will look to recruit Frisco's growing senior citizen population. Click here to learn more.

Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission meets Tuesday


The commission's meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Frisco City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. During the meeting, the commission will vote on plans for various office, medical office, restaurant and retail projects throughout the city. Click here to view the agenda.
