Omni Frisco Hotel now open for booking

The Omni Frisco Hotel, which is expected to open this summer at The Star in Frisco, is now accepting bookings for business and leisure travelers. To celebrate its upcoming grand opening, the hotel is offering four specialty guest packages with different accommodations and amenities. Learn more about the guest packages here. The 16-story Omni Hotel will feature 300 guest rooms and suites and 24,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 13,000 square-foot ballroom.

Early voting begins for May 6 election

Voters can hit the polls beginning Monday for the May 6 election. Polls are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. this week. This May, Frisco voters will decide on nine open positions on Frisco City Council, the Frisco ISD board of trustees and the Collin College board of trustees, as well as a $600 million bond proposition for Collin College. Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission to meet Tuesday

iFLY Indoor Skydiving to host All Abilities Night

On Wednesday, iFLY is welcoming anyone with physical or cognitive challenges to fly two times in the wind tunnel. Each participant will be assisted by a specially trained flight instructor.
