In late August, Angela’s at the Crosswalk welcomed local chef George Moore, who specializes in homecooked Cajun, Southern and French food. New items that have been tested include pork chops and chicken confit, Business Manager Julie Holmer said.


The restaurant also received a license from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to serve alcohol at its catering events.


Aside from weekly live music events and open mic nights, the restaurant will also introduce beer, wine and liquor tasting events featuring creations by companies like Deep Eddy Vodka. A ladies bunco night is also gaining in popularity.


“It’s a good chance to hang out and make friends,” she said.
